36 Days of Type 2023

36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and visual artists to express their unique interpretation of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet.

Driven by my deepening passion for the world of 3D, I have joined this incredible challenge. I used this adventure to push myself outside my comfort zone, and improve my skills in modelling, texturing, and rendering.

For my 36 Days of Type set, I decided to explore words from the world of marketing. Each word is touching a different aspect of marketing and online content.

In marketing, adverts are how we reach out to people and tell them the story of our business. From a little flyer, all the way to a massive billboard, this is where the audience’s eyes meet your brand.

A great brand identity creates a unique and recognisable image that your customers can relate to, leading to increased brand recognition, loyalty, and sales.

Video is what I do. It’s my work, my service, my passion.

Additionally, Zen principles like mindfulness and simplicity can help you stay focused on your goals and values, and minimise distractions and unnecessary complexity.

In this series, I embraced the task of maintaining a cohesive look and feel across various objects, mirroring the challenges of adhering to brand guidelines in client projects—a valuable exercise indeed.

To do this, I followed a consistent process. First, I brainstormed and came up with many ideas for each letter. Then, I sketched each letter in detail, focusing on the main ideas and how they fit together. This helped me stay focused when I moved on to creating the 3D models.
